About Kriya Yoga
Kriya Yoga is considered as the pinnacle of Pranayama practices. This secretive ancient Yog-meditation technique uplifts the soul towards spiritual enlightenment. This meditation consists of advanced forms of “mudras,” “pranayama” (breath control), and “kumbhaka” (holding the breath). As per many yogis & Siddha-Purusha, ‘Kriya Yog’ is considered the fastest & safest path towards self-realisation, but people must practice it under a self-realised guru.
Kriya Yoga focuses mainly on attaining higher states of consciousness and connection to internal power’s source. Practising Kriya Yoga teaches practitioners how to use their bodies and mind for spiritual growth. Unlike other forms of yoga, the emphasis is not necessarily to become more physically flexible but to cleanse and purify the body from physical and mental limitations. Through this practice, one can develop an understanding of energy pathways within the body and increase awareness.

Without Guru-Dakshina, teaching is not accomplished. It is necessary to pay homage to teaching and the teacher or Guru. A self-realised guru always delivers a few times more than what he or she took from his or her disciples; that’s why Guru-Dakshina is necessary.
Guru-Dakshina should never be called initiation fees. It has been a tradition from ancient times when a disciple wants to learn something from a guru, he or she needs to give the Guru-Dakshina to that Guru.
Kriya Yoga and Raja Yoga are both part of the same spiritual tradition. Kriya yoga focuses on energetic practices that connect the inner and outer consciousness through breathing, postures and meditation. Through the sincere practice of Kriya Yoga, practitioners can enter higher states of concentration, experience unity with Self or Atman and ultimately transcend the cycles of birth and death.

Practising Kriya Yoga has been known to bring about physical healing in its most effective form. The combination of these aspects can create both immediate and long-term benefits when it comes to the physical health of an individual who consistently performs this type of yoga. As yoga focuses on developing and improving physical habits, many practitioners advocate for clean eating to maximize the energy accessible during each practice. Depending on individual goals, some yogis will recommend limiting or avoiding processed foods, alcohol, and caffeine.
Additionally, becoming mindful of your food sensitivities can be beneficial, as tending to them during your practice could lead to improved transformations due to an increased capacity to focus.
